
Meeting held in Joya Panchayat assembly hall regarding communicable disease control
A meeting was organized in the assembly hall of Joya Panchayat regarding the communicable disease control and cleanliness campaign which will run for 156 hours starting from October 2nd on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary.
Doctors from Community Health Center Joya provided information about various communicable diseases and their prevention methods. All sanitation workers were directed to maintain cleanliness in the area to prevent diseases like malaria and dengue, which are often caused by standing water and mosquito breeding.
District Program Officer Nadeem Akhtar ji, following the instructions of the government, gave detailed information about the cleanliness drive to the present staff and emphasized ensuring proper sanitation for disease prevention.
Nagar Panchayat Chairman Jubair Ahmed, Executive Officer Vipin Kumar Singh, Office Superintendent Vijay Sharma, Mohammad Naseem, Faaheem Ahmed, and others were present in the meeting.
